What is the difference between EIC and EICR

In short, an electrical installation certificate (EIC) is what should be issued when some major electrical works are performed at premises, such as a new fuse board, a new circuit, some major rewiring etc. This is to certify that the work is safe and who is responsible for it. An electrical installation condition report (EICR) is more like an MOT for a car, it is not saying the person has installed, built or altered anything, only that it has been tested and that as far as is reasonably practicable to test, it is safe for continual use.

We offer EICR services in South London.
